This week was a very busy week for me, so I actually do not have a new article for you. Instead, I would like to introduce you all to a new project I am working on – the Game Designer’s Dictionary. For this project I am planning to compile a comprehensive collection of gaming and game design terms, for easy reference.

I have already begun (there are about 70 words in there currently), but I am only getting started. Many of the definitions will be edited for content and style, and I plan to add many more entries in the future. I also plan on adding additional examples and images to existing and future entries, and possibly improving the formatting of the page as a whole.

If there is a word or concept that you think deserves to be in the dictionary, let me know and I’ll do my best to add it. If there is a concept in the dictionary that you would like to know more about, send me a message or leave a comment and I might look into it more in a future article.

Next week I should be back to my usual posting schedule, with a brand new article about the Hero’s Journey. If you want to stay up-to-date on the progress of this project, or stay informed about future articles, please check out the rest of the blog and subscribe on Facebook, Twitter, or here on WordPress. See you next week!
