Hey everybody, this week was Final’s week for me, so I don’t have an article for you. I am also moving next week for my summer internship, so next week’s article will probably be a repost. This week, however, I have something a little different.

I would like to share with you all a project I have been working on this semester. One of the classes I just finished up was a course on Computer Graphics, and as part of that course I put together a small VR simulation. In this simulation users fly around on the back of a dragon through various environments, such as mountains, forests and deserts.

I have recorded a video of the simulation down below, and this is a link to a Google Drive file where you can download the Unity project, as well as further documentation. The project was created in Unity 2017.4.26f1, and I’m not sure which other versions of Unity it will work with, but the included zip file should have everything you need if you want to open it up and try it out for yourself in VR (it runs on the Oculus Rift).

If you have any questions, please let me know. I should be back to my regular video / article schedule after next week! See you then!
